Let’s start off our beautiful 2024 from a winter wonderland! ❄️

One of the largest & northernmost regions of Finland is the spectacular Lapland!

It is a region of northern Europe largely within the Arctic circle. It stretches across northern Norway, Sweden, Finland & into the Kola Peninsula of Russia.

With its snow – covered landscapes, Lapland has more reindeer than people! It has over 200,000 reindeer roaming forests & fields. You can take a sledge ride, embark on a reindeer safari or visit a reindeer farm to encounter these species of deer.

In this snowy winter, plenty of snow activities are offered: cross country skiing through immense wild forests, enjoy the slopes in Finland’s largest ski resort, snowshoeing in the Pallas – Yiiästunturi National Park, dog sledding, ice fishing, …

For the ice – skating lovers, there are ice – skating rinks across Lapland.

Or you know what is even better? A once in a lifetime experience would be to break the ice & go ice swimming!
